Appaloosas for Stud at Bridgeman Land & Livestock
At Bridgeman
Land & Livestock we offer four colored appaloosa stallions. They produce a wide range of colors from bays to
sorrels to browns to palominos. Along with these base colors many
of our stallions produce snowcap appaloosa foals with large blanket,
just a few spots over their rump, leopard appaloosas or just about
any color pattern you would like.
Disposition, personality, and trainability are all qualities
that we breed for. Our horses are easy to train and go on to have
many different careers. They can be used for simple trail riding
horses or can go on to be top show or rodeo horses. Quality is our
main focus. They must have correct conformation, as well as having
a sound mind.
Many of the foals out of our program have gone on to
by Canadian National Appaloosa champions, ApHCC Year end champions,
world show finalists, provincial award winners and ApHCC and ApHC
point earners. Timtress Moon was the 2001 Canadian National Appaloosa
show, Overall High Point Horse as well as the High Point Judged
Horse. That year she also earned many ApHCC year-end championships
and is now owned by novice amateur Amy of Nebraska. Moon Too was
the 2001 and 2003 Manitoba High School Rodeo Association High Point
Appaloosa Horse as well as being the horse that carried Kristy to
championships in Breakaway Roping both years and Goat Tying in 2003.
Miracle Moon contributed to our program greatly
from 1999 when we purchased him until 2002 when he passed away.
Moon sired multiple national champions, ApHCC and ApHC point earners,
and provincial winners. His foals have athletic ability matched
with kind hearts and willingness to please. We still own about 10
of his daughters that we breed to our other two stallions. Plus
we have two up and coming sons of Moon that we will begin having
foals off of this year.
| Bonds Reflection
has also shaped our Appaloosa breeding program. Reflection is
sired by James Bond who is by the great sire Goer and out of
Mac's Goldie Go who was out of Princes MacDonald. Reflection
is a solid bay but sires lots of color. Every year we have about
three leopards out of him and lots of blanketed and snowcapped
foals too. Reflections offspring are good-looking, easy to train
individuals. Many of his foals are ApHCC point earners, provincial
award winners, and futurity champions. Sadly Bonds Reflection
passed away early in 2006!!

| Mr. Rock Solid
was introduced into our program in 2002. He is a son of the
great pleasure horse sire Rock Star and out of a daughter of
Skip's Rewards. Rock throws very pretty, correct foals that
are easy to work with. We have not had the chance to break any
to ride yet but they are very easy to halter break. Rock sires
a very high percentage of colored foals.

Snuffy Moon and Moons Not E Nuff
are our two young sons of Miracle Moon. Snuffy is a 2002 out
of a daughter of My Ole Man. He is sorrel with just a few white
hairs throughout his body.
Moons Not E Nuff is a 2000
out of a Chico's Pepita De Oro granddaughter. He is a sorrel
with a white blanket and has thrown almost identical foals to
himself. |

Bar Time daughter. He is an awesome all around horse.
Kristy and Kirk showed "Scotch" at the
2006 Canadian National Appaloosa Show and earned 2 Canadian National
Championships, multiple reserve championships and multiple top tens!!
He was also the High Point horse in Canada in Amateur Breakaway
Roping and Amateur Flag Picking. Also he won the reserve National
Championship in Junior Western Riding the first time being shown

All four stallions have wonderful dispositions themselves
therefore it carries on to their foals. All stallions are registered
with the Appaloosa Horse Club of Canada and the Appaloosa Horse
Club.
