Horses For Sale From Bridgeman Land & Livestock
Here at Bridgeman Land & Livestock Ltd. we offer a
variety of horses for sale at all times. We have both Quarter Horses
and Appaloosas for sale ranging from weanlings to broodmares to stallions
to finished horses. One of our stallions is Foundation bred, so we
frequently have Foundation Quarter Horse geldings for sale.
We have sold Quarter Horses and Appaloosa horses to a variety of locations
from Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and
Quebec in Canada, and into the US to North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin,
Oklahoma, Montana, and Texas.
The broke horses could go on to be show horses at any
level being local fairs or world-class competition. The broke horses
we offer are usually at varying stages of training. Many of our two
and three year olds will be green broke having 30 to 120 days put
on them. Then we usually have a few experienced horses for sale too.
This could be ones that have been used on the ranch, barrel horses,
show horses, or rope horses. Horses are all ridden outside through
pastures and down the road. We try to keep a few weanlings each year
to break and train as two and three year olds. Kristy has a select
few barrel horses and barrel prospects for sale each year as well.
Horses ranging from two year old to twelve year olds could be for
sale at anytime depending on what we have kept or what horse is not
being used by us on the ranch anymore. Many of our horses have gone
on to be show and youth horses as well as barrel racing and rodeo
horses and trail riding horses. Ranch raised geldings have helped
Kristy earn All Around Cowgirl titles twice in the Manitoba High School
Rodeo Association as well as championships in Breakaway Roping, Pole
Bending, and Goat Tying. Besides broke horses we also have a good
selection of yearlings every year as we keep about twenty from the
previous year. They are all halter broke and come from our breeding
program. Many times there will be a variety of colors in the Quarter
Horses ranging from buckskins to palominos to sorrels to bays. The
Appaloosa yearlings are usually colored.
Most horses that we have for sale, come from our breeding
program. So they all show the quality that we breed for. In our breeding
program we strive to produce versatile horses that have good dispositions
and conformation.
